I had an incredible experience at Bananas Guest House Private Room. The owner, Efraim, went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable stay. He picked me up from Altagracia and took me on a small walk to see the batcave, where I witnessed the fruitbats in the evening sky. The food cooked by his wife was delicious, and Efraim even brought freshly picked mangos and a watermelon. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful view of the conception volcano made this a truly relaxing getaway. I highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet retreat with stunning sunset views from your hammock. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

had the best sleeping nights amidst the banana plantation, thanks to the super sweet and helpful family who made our stay amazing! Big rooms, comfortable beds, and great tours. The location is remote, but that adds to the charm. Plus, they offer scooter rentals too!
Remote location, need own transport.

Loved the welcoming and friendly hosts who made me feel right at home. They provided excellent service and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The food cooked by the host's wife was delicious and great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, with a towel provided. The location was peaceful and surrounded by nature, with a beautiful beach nearby. I also appreciated the option to rent a scooter at a good price to explore the island.
The kitchen was basic and could benefit from more equipment, including a fridge that is always on. There were occasional water interruptions, especially in the mornings.
